Desi tadka food and Tiffin

Our family has a long history in the restaurant industry, dating back to 1961 in the city of Amritsar, India. We have a passion for serving delicious, authentic food, and we are proud to continue this tradition in Canada.

Our first restaurant, Desi Tadka, opened in Brampton, Ontario in 2011. We specialize in using traditional Indian cooking techniques, such as tempering (tadka), to create flavorful dishes that are sure to satisfy your taste buds. Our menu features a range of dishes made with fresh ingredients and spices, including tandoori chicken, Butter Chicken, and Authentic dishes

We started as a catering and tiffin delivery service and quickly gained a reputation for our delicious food and excellent service. We then saw an opportunity to bring the taste of North Indian cuisine to Ottawa, and we took it.
