Team LiquidGym at Tamarack Ottawa Race Weekend

42 participants and volunteers walked and rolled the 2K at Tamarack Ottawa Race Weekend 2023

"What were those yellow tricycle things at Race Weekend?"

A yellow bicycle with wheels and a seat.

These are Alinker walking bikes, a non-motorized bike without pedals. 

LiquidGym provides them to participants of all abilities to raise awareness of these mobility devices, and enable anyone who never thought they could be in a marathon! 

Ottawa Race Weekend is a festive atmosphere with activities such as pre-race warm-ups, entertainment, food stalls, and awards ceremonies for top finishers. Participants  receive event t-shirts, medals, and other memorabilia as tokens of appreciation for their support.

It was a perfect sunny day for a race, and everyone enjoyed it. Contact LiquidGym to learn more about the Alinker, and to join the 2024 race team!

To get started as a vendor, please complete this short form. We’ll get back to you as soon as we can.

The fee is $25 per Sunday, payable to Bells Corners BIA.

Be prepared to bring everything you need for your display. We set up at 10:30am and run until teardown at 4:00pm.

Keep it family friendly! Displays intended for a 19+ audience won’t be allowed.
