Nominate a Candidate for Election to the BIA Board of Directors
Below you’ll find the form for nominating someone – or yourself – to stand for election on the Bells Corners BIA Board. Here are some important things to note before you do:
Nomination deadline: Thursday, February 2nd
Election / AGM Date: Tuesday, February 7th, 6:30pm
The Board needs BIA members. At least nine of thirteen Board seats must be held by BIA business representatives or property owners.
Other community members may apply. Up to three Board seats may be held by community leaders, local non-member organizations, or local residents with special business skills.
You may nominate yourself or someone else. But before you nominate someone else, please confirm their willingness to serve and their availability to attend the AGM
This is a volunteer position, so commitment and passion are key. The new Board’s term is four years until the next municipal election in 2026. So we’re looking for nominees to commit to at least two years of service.
