Our Philosophy
Since its humble beginnings in 2003, NeuroLogic Physiotherapy has grown to open two locations serving the Ottawa area with a team of 20 highly-skilled and dedicated therapists who work together to focus on providing hands-on treatment on a one-to-one basis.
Our physiotherapists are trained to see (by postural and movement analysis) and feel (by hands-on soft tissue and fascial evaluation) areas of the body contributing to restricted mobility, functional limitations, and pain issues. We expand our assessment to look at the whole person, which helps us to develop a treatment plan which strives to address the cause versus solely treating the symptoms. In our approach, the client is an engaged, active participant in the healing process, rather than a passive recipient of hands-on techniques.

We are offering a virtual stroke program with access to an interdisciplinary team for those with limited access to stroke care
MYOFASCIAL RELEASE
Myofascial Release is a hands-on approach to treatment which evaluates the whole body to treat the cause of your symptoms, whether it be pain, tightness etc.
VESTIBULAR REHABILITATION
Vestibular rehabilitation relieves the symptoms and discomfort of vestibular disorders, including dizziness, unsteadiness and balance problems.
STROKE REHABILITATION
Stroke rehabilitation physiotherapists encourage recovery through facilitating neuroplasticity, postural alignment, and normal movement patterns.
PARKINSON’S DISEASE REHABILITATION
Parkinson’s LSVT BIG® Therapy and Parkinson’s Wellness Recovery Therapy works to increase amplitude of limb and body movements in order to enhance trunk rotation and gait to allow for improved speed, balance, as well as quality of life for those in our community who have Parkinson’s Disease.
TRAUMATIC BRAIN INJURY (TBI) AND POST-CONCUSSIVE SYNDROME TREATMENT
Concussion and TBI physiotherapists treat weakness, headaches, dizziness, poor balance / decreased co-ordination, pain and more.
SPINAL CORD INJURY REHABILITATION
Spinal Cord Injury (SCI) rehabilitation consists of facilitating neuroplasticity, increasing function, improving abnormal alignment and compensatory movement and more.
PELVIC FLOOR PHYSIOTHERAPY
Pelvic floor physiotherapy (PFPT) is a specialized branch of physiotherapy involving the assessment and treatment of the pelvic floor muscles via internal and external examination.
MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS (MS) TREATMENT
Multiple Sclerosis treatment helps with management of a variety of aspects of the disease – relapse management, rehabilitation, symptom management, and pain management.
PHYSIOTHERAPY FOR NEWBORNS AND INFANTS

Craniosacral therapy (CST) is a gentle, hands-on technique that manipulates the cranial system, which includes the spine, skull, cranial sutures, and fascia.

Chronic pain treatment consists of working to relieve restrictions in the body through gentle techniques so that the body can release tension and decrease a person’s overall pain.

We have several physiotherapists in the clinic who are trained in the skills of acupuncture and Contemporary Medical Acupuncture.
IN HOME OR RESIDENCE PHYSIOTHERAPY
Our physiotherapists are able to treat clients in home or in residence for those who have difficulty travelling around the community.
