THE MEAT

Our Duna Schnitzel is made using only the finest quality center cut of the pork loin.  There is a tasty reason for this.  It is much less sinewy and therefore much more tender than other schnitzels.

TENDERIZED WITH LOVE – AND A LARGE MALLET

Every piece of meat is carefully pounded with a large mallet until our large schnitzel measures 30 centimeters in diameter.  This involves more work than for ordinary schnitzels but, in the end, our guests get to enjoy an exceptionally large and tender schnitzel.

FROM THE FRYING PAN TO YOUR PLATE

​The schnitzels are then carefully hand breaded in flour, egg wash and the finest quality bread crumbs before being expertly pan fried in vegetable oil. 

Our schnitzels are made exactly as our grandmothers prepared them one century ago.  This is why our patrons can enjoy the finest, most tender and crispy schnitzels anywhere.

About Us

We at Duna Bistro go out of our way to create the finest Central and Eastern European cuisine.  Our patrons’ favorites include our famous Viennese style schnitzel, our pierogis with sautéed onions, beef goulash and beef roulade as well as our home made cabbage rolls.

The fee is $25 per Sunday, payable to Bells Corners BIA.

Be prepared to bring everything you need for your display. We set up at 10:30am and run until teardown at 4:00pm.

Keep it family friendly! Displays intended for a 19+ audience won’t be allowed.
