Management Strategies for Relating & Responding to Mental Health

In this workshop, Breanna will speak about strategies that managers can employ to work
towards psychological safety in the workplace.

We will explore the following:
 The National Standard for Psychological Safety in the Workplace,
 Warning signs to be on the lookout for (including in remote environments),
 Active communication strategies for opening safe conversations, and
 Boundary setting skills to foster self-care and wellbeing.

There will be 40 minutes allotted for questions.
 BHSc, BA Spec. Psychology
 Experience with addictions, supportive housing and crisis intervention
 Founder of Talk Tools in 2018.
 Bronze Level LivingWorks Applied Suicide Intervention Skills (ASIST) trainer
 Instructor of St. John Ambulance’s “Mental Health and Wellness in the Workplace”
 Instructor of LifeLine Workshops’ “Assessing Suicide in Kids” (ASK).
 Working on MA in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University
